If asbestos is present, an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) should be documented.
If asbestos containing materials (ACMs) are present or presumed in the workplace, in addition to the Asbestos Register, an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) must be prepared,
The AMP must be readily available to anyone who has worked, or intends to work at the site; health and safety representatives; or anyone conducting a business at the site who requires, or may require, work to be carried out at the workplace.
For the purposes of managing asbestos exposure risks, the AMP should clearly set out what will be done, when, how, and by whom.
BENSS Asbestos Management Plans
Recommendations for ongoing asbestos risk management in the workplace are included in our Asbestos Assessment Reports, which will form the basis of any AMP.
Our experienced Asbestos Assessors work with a broad client range, and can tailor AMPs to individual clients, sites, and budgets.
Whether you manage a small single site, or national property portfolio, our expert team can assist with all or part of your AMP.
For our clients with existing health and safety management systems, and broader business management systems, we are able to integrate the AMP into existing processes and procedures.
